User Provisioning (Azure AD)

June 23, 2020 16:34 CEST
[Identified] We have identified an issue with the Azure AD user provisioning with deleting or deactivating users. We are investigating the origin of the issue and have contacted Microsoft. We will get back to you when we have more information. If you are in urgent need to have certain users removed you can contact the Infoland Servicedesk, they can remove the users for you.

[Identified] Microsoft has confirmed releasing a performance optimization software update on their side in Azure AD, this update causes an unforeseen problem with syncing unassigned users to iProva. In iProva unassigned users are no longer set to inactive when the sync only contains unassignments. Microsoft is working on releasing a fix, we have no confirmed timeframe yet but we will keep you updated. For now the best workaround is to add other changes such as name changes to the usersync. Also over time this should be fixed when your organization does other user changes which are synced. We will close the incident since there is now a workaround and the issue is not on the iProva side but in Azure AD, Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and they will hopefully release a fix soon.
